Russell House Construction was born in 2013 by myself Michael Blakiston, shortly after I left Swindon College.
There I studied for three years doing bricklaying and business management.
I started the company to build extensions and general building around my Village of Little Somerford. I named the company after our family home at the time.
It did not take long for my reputation to build and I shortly started to expand the company. We currently run three full teams of builders.
It seemed an obvious choose to get into New build homes, so I enrolled in the NHBC insurance company who use to supply the 10 year Warranty needed.
I am always trying to improve myself by enrolling on courses that will hopefully improve my company. In 2015 I joined HETAS to allow me to install log burning stoves and followed this up in 2016 with another course by allow me to fit twin wall chimneys.
In 2017 I took on the challenge of installing ground source heat systems. This has changed my perception on heating systems. We can now design and install both ground and Air source systems to your New build or Retro fit to your existing home.
This year we have started a design and build service making the whole process of building a new build or extending your property stress free. We can offer advice on your houses potential and even arrange with our own trusted financial advisor how you could fund your dream project.
